What to Expect:
- One of our highly trained and experienced “angels” will arrive at your home in her unmarked car. No sign we promise!
- Upon arrival, she will gladly check everyone and determine if they need to be treated.
- She will show you the evidence of infestation and will then treat anyone who has lice.
- Our treatment process is completely non toxic! We are proud to use The Shepherd Method of lice removal, the most thorough and effective method of manual removal available. Using this method, The Hair Angels has effectively treated thousands of people for lice!
- Post treatment, your angel will give you recommendations on what steps should be taken to clean your home. It’s not as bad as you think!
Treatment on average will take between 1.5 to 2 hours per person, depending on quantity of hair and the level of infestation.
After treatment you or your child can expect to be at least 98% free, and we guarantee your child back to school immediately after the appointment is over.
Some very simple follow up combing and a re-check appointment 5-7 days later are both highly recommended.

For Los Angeles area residents who would like to visit our salon, it’s conveniently and centrally located in Pasadena, California.
Treatment in our salon is exactly the same as in-home service, only the venue and cost are different.
Our beautiful salon is perfectly equipped with the proper lighting to effectively remove head lice. Even the squirmiest of clients will settle in to be treated, with a little help from a portable DVD player!
The Shepherd Method
The Hair Angels is proud to be the only local company trained & certified in the renowned Shepherd Method™ of head lice removal. The Shepherd Method is, without a doubt, the most thorough manual method available.
We take lice removal seriously, and we never rush the job, so we do more than just comb!
First the hair is combed, until nothing further can be removed. Then the hair is divided 
into 4 quadrants which are examined, in paper-thin layers, one strand of hair at a time, to remove any remaining nits and bugs. Then we do one more visual head check, just to be sure. We know that this is the most effective manual method available and the only way to guarantee thoroughly clean lice-free hair.
